Ministries & Events at Evans Mills Community Church...
Our primary event is held on Saturdays at Noon (12pm).
That is our main event, when we get together for fellowship and prayer, and we usually begin by enjoying a casual meal & desserts done pot-luck style. Amount of time varies.
We then have a at least a one-hour devotional time that may include a Christian video and/or a Bible-based message from one of our members or guests, Bible study, hymns and songs.
It's also a time that we encourage one another in all of our church and personal ministries, in the practice of good discipleship.
Other events may be held and/or announced at random intervals, on a short term or individual basis. Occasionally on Sunday mornings, or at other times of the day or week, we may offer special events. Follow our Facebook page for frequent updates.
For several years now we have participated in the Evans Mills/Church Street Block Party, held annually in August.
Since its beginning in 2012, the annual Block Party is an event that is growing in size and scope, as well as popularity. It is a combined effort of several Evans Mills churches: Evans Mills United Methodist Church, St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Andrews Shared Ministry (Presbyterian & Episcopal), Evans Mills Community Church and other area Christian ministries.
